2007

It might be a bit late to write this, but 2007 has been a special and richly blessed year...

At the start of 2007, I set 3 small goals: learn first-aid, become the Olympic volunteer, and get a driver's license. Eventually, the 1st and 2nd goals were achieved in the early months, and I found out that I have good reason to give up the 3rd, so I consider all 3 goals were well achieved :)

Job duty change has been another big blessing. The change was at a perfect timing. I did feel frustrated at the beginning as I wasn't sure why A made that decision. But now I can only give thanks for the change. It freed me for many other activities I enjoy doing -- interest courses, spend time with friends & family, read, blog, travel, think... Now I would even consider it was a sabbatical year! And I did need the break as the previous few years have been very stressful and if I continued to work in the business team, may be I'd burn out. God knows my needs more than I do.

The less stressful work has also spared me strength and energy to feel, walk into other's lives, participating in the children ministry, and have some self-exploration, especially the emotional self.

God has also blessed me richly with the friendship florished here and there(Olympic volunteers, existing friends, Holyland trip friends...), the closeness with my family, wonderful colleagues and work partners.

The Holyland trip was like those final highlights of a firework show -- glamorous & splendid.

It is interesting how work condition has changed after the trip, after the new GM reported to duty. He is strong in administration management and has already started a few new projects. Project proposals waiting ahead and trips coming up...

Time to take another run? So soon??
