重慶雞公煲

Have tried a few restaurants with mom & dad recently and this one was surprisingly good.

The menu was very simple -- only 3 kinds of clay pot dish, a simple drink list & rice, plus a self-help corner for hot pot ingredient.

The eating style they recommended is quite unique -- first eat the spicy clay pot dish (chicken, beef or prawn), then add soup to turn the leftover sauce into the soup base for hotpot (打邊爐), and then pick up some vege, meat/ fish balls, noodles, etc from the self help fridge and enjoy the yummy hotpot.

We cannot eat very spicy so always choose the mild one. The seasoning is quite strong but very tasty. The portion of the hotpot ingredients is very small and only priced from $3~10. We can have a wide variety of vege and other side dishes.

$$ only about $60/ person... Nice!
