On the Valentine's Day....

What a first-aider can do?

1. If there are some lovers got suffocated and passed out from kissing, call 999 and perform CPR to revive them.

2. Help them stop bleeding if their hands got cut by the rose stem.

3. If the girl is allergic to pollen, take a picture of the bouquet for her and dump it (taking pic is the main point or she'll kill the first-aider...). Then rest her in an open area. 999 service and CPR might be necessary in serious case.

4. If they got drunk, calm them down and rest them in a safe place. Don't offer any food or drink. If they become unconscious, check whether they respond to shoulting and shaking. If no, call 999 immediately.

5. If so unfortunate, a couple is breaking up on this very day, the shock might cause someone pass out. If the person is breathing, place him/her into recovery position and keep him/her warm.

6. If yet more unfortunately, the shock is so BIG and caused heart stroke, heart attack, breathing difficulties or other emergency, call 999 and perform CPR if necessary.

7. If someone got choked when having the romantic dinner and cannot speak, cough or breath but conscious, give subdiaphragmatic abdominal thrusts or chest thrusts to help expelling the foreign object. Then go to hospital.

Not that romantic, huh?

Want to enjoy a truly undisturbed romantic celebration?
Whatever you do, think safety first!
